After being in a relationship for five years, Deepika Padukonbe and Ranveer Singh got married according to Konkani rituals on November 14 at Lake Como. The two lovebirds also got hitched today as per Sindhi rituals in the presence of their family members and close friends. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Ranveer’s friends tore his clothes as part of the tradition. There’s a deep meaning behind the tradition as people belonging to Sindhi community believe that a man, starts a new life after he gets married and he must look at it with a fresh frame of mind.

While we have seen the ‘Simmba’ actor dressed in white kurta and mundu in his Konkani wedding, we are eagerly waiting to see him as a traditional Sindhi groom.

Although not clearly, Deepika Padukone was spotted wearing a red lehenga for her wedding while she was de-boarding the yacht. The bride wore a lehenga desgined by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

The baraatis seemed all excited as they were seen dancing to the tunes of Govinda and Anil Kapoor's songs on the yacht.

After returning to India, DeepVeer will be hosting wedding reception in Bangalore and Mumbai on November 21 and November 28 respectively. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ co-stars will also throw a party for their Bollywood friends on December 1.
