New Delhi: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’, shared two throwback pictures with her badminton team on social media. Before becoming an actress, the 'Piku' actress was a national level badminton champion. She would travel to other states for the matches in buses and trains. DP went down the memory lane and posted unseen photos along with some words of wisdom.


The 'Padmaavat' actress has been sharing several throwback snaps on Instagram during the COVID-19 lockdown. In the first picture, she can be seen sitting on the backseat of a bus.

“They say look ahead... ever so often remind yourself about where you’ve come from and everything it has taken to get to where you are on this incredible journey,” the caption for the post read.

Deepika had earlier shared a sweet post for her hubby Ranveer Singh on his 35th birthday. She wrote, "The light of my life.The centre of my universe.I wish you good health and peace of mind in abundance.As for the rest, I’ll tell you in person! I Love You!"



On the professional front, the 'Tamasha' actress will be next seen in Kabir Khan's 83'. The sports drama is based on India's 1983 Cricket World Cup victory. The much-awaited movie starring Ranveer Singh in lead role was slated to hit the silver screens on April 10, 2020. However, the film couldn't release on its scheduled date as the cinema halls were shut due to COVID-19 crisis.
