Los Angeles: Producer Simon Kinberg the sequel to "Deadpool" will crack jokes about the "saturation" reached in the superhero movie genre.
Amid the negative reviews for the latest superhero film "Suicide Squad", Kinberg says that his Deadpool, the motor-mouthed hero, will not shy away from the current superhero movie drama in the follow-up story, reported Aceshowbiz.
"I think 'Deadpool 2' will comment on anything that's happening in movies today especially in superhero movies," he told /Film at the TCA press tour.
"The sort of glut or saturation of these movies and the proliferation of sequels is definitely something we'll play around with."
The second movie is expected to start filming in early 2017. Tim Miller will return as a director and Ryan Reynolds is set to reprise his role as the foul-mouthed mercenary.
The story is still kept under tight wraps, but Cable who was originally planned to appear in the first film is confirmed to finally be introduced in the sequel.
