Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau on Saturday (October 9) questioned Aryan Khan’s driver in connection with an alleged rave party case, according to ANI. Aryan, who is the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is currently under judicial custody. 


The anti-drugs law enforcement agency had summoned SRK's driver for questioning in the high-profile case. He was spotted at the NCB's office in Mumbai on Saturday afternoon.

A Mumbai court on Friday (October 8) rejected Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaz Seth Merchant’s bail plea in connection with the cruise drug bust case. The three are among the eight accused, who have been sent to 14-day judicial custody for their alleged involvement in the rave party case.   


Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate R.M. Nerlikar rejected the bail of the trio, on grounds of "maintainability", upholding the contentions of NCB’s legal team, as per a report in IANS. 


The lawyers of some of the accused, while interacting with journalists, said that they have plans to apply to the Sessions Court for their client’s bail on October 11.   


An Esplanade court had earlier sent the eight accused to judicial custody, rejecting NCB’s plea seeking further custody of the people, who were arrested in connection with the drugs seizure case.

The eight people were shifted to regular prisons from NCB’s lockup on Friday afternoon. They were earlier kept in the NCB lockup since their detention and arrest.  


While the female accused- Nupur Sarika and Munmun Dhamecha were sent to Byculla Women’s Jail, Aryan and others were shunted to Arthur Road Central Jail. Aryan was not given any special treatment during his first night in Jail. The star kid was served the same food, which is provided to other prisoners.
