Shilpa Shetty, who recently welcomed baby girl Samisha via surrogacy, on Sunday announed that she has pledged to donate a sum of Rs 21 lakhs to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's PM-CARES Fund. The 'Dhadkan' actress took to her social media account and also urged people to do their bit to combat Coronavirus.
She tweeted, "For humanity, our country, & fellow citizens that need us; now is the time, let’s do our bit.

National-award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao also donated to PM's Relief Fund, CM's Relief Fund as well as Zomato Feeding India to aid the battle against COVID-19. Speaking about the Coronavirus outbreak, the total number of positive coronavirus cases in India rose to 1139 including 90 recoveries and 27 deaths.
