Bollywood actress-turned-global star Priyanka Chopra is currently shooting for 'Quantico 3' & will wrap-up the show very soon. Ever since the release of her last film 'Jai Gangaajal' in 2016, Priyanka's fans are desperately waiting for her Bollywood comeback. There has been various reports regarding her next Bollywood film since a long time but here comes a great news for her fans. It is now confirmed that Priyanka will feature opposite Salman Khan in Ali Abaas Zafar's 'Bharat'.

Priyanka & Ali have confirmed the same to a leading daily about the casting coup.

Ali opened-up about signing Priyanka for 'Bharat' & old the leading daily that, “Bharat is Priyanka’s homecoming to Bollywood after having proved herself as a performer in a global TV show, Quantico, and in Hollywood. Bharat is rooted in India and its culture, spans over seven decades and travels across the world. Priyanka is the biggest Indian artist globally today and a perfect fit for the film as she brings to the table her incredible talent and international appeal.”

Ali further added that, “Bharat is a mature, subtle love story and her character is the soul of the film. She stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Salman in his journey and is the catalyst who triggers what will be a turning point in the plot.”

Reportedly, Ali Abbas Zafar along with 'Bharat' producer Atul Agnihotri went to New York recently to give a narration to Priyanka. She liked the script & said 'yes' immediately.

All set to be back in Bollywood after 2 years, Priyanka is very excited for the film. Speaking about the same, she told Pune Mirror that, “I’m looking forward to working with Salman and Ali after a considerable time. I’ve learnt a lot from them during our previous collaborations and I am excited to see what this one has to offer. I’m also looking forward to working with Atul, Alvira and the entire team. To all my well-wishers who have been patient and supportive, thank you for your constant support and I’ll see you at the movies.”

After working in films like 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi', Salaam-e-Ishq' & 'God Tussi Great Ho', Salman & Priyanka will be reuniting after 10 years in 'Bharat'. Also, Priyanka has earlier worked with director Ali Abbas Zafar in 'Gunday' & this will be their second collaboration. Whereas 'Bharat' will be Salman & Ali's third collaboration after 'Sultan' & 'Tiger Zinda Hai'.

Salman Khan has already started shooting for 'Bharat'[READ HERE...] & Priyanka will reportedly join the shoot in July.
