Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who recently launched ‘Pregnancy Bible’, has been embroiled in a controversy over the name of her new book. Christian group has filed a complaint against the ‘Good Newwz’ and others in Maharashtra’s Beed, raising objection over the title of the book.
Alpha Omega Christian Mahasangh president Ashish Shinde lodged a complaint, accusing Kareena and others of hurting religious sentiments of the community, a report in PTI said. He submitted the complaint at Beed’s Shivaji Nagar police station.

In his complaint, Shinde said that the holy word ‘Bible’ has been used in the book’s title, which has hurt the sentiments of Christians. He sought registration of a case under IPC’s section 295-A against Kareena and two others, the report in PTI said.
A police officer, while talking to the news agency, confirmed receiving the complaint. He said that no FIR was registered in the matter.
‘Pregnancy Bible’, which has been authored by Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aditi Shah Bhimjani, was launched on July 9. Bebo announced the launch of her book in style on Instagram.
Kareena called 'Pregnancy Bible' her 'third child' and said that it was 'personal account of what she experienced through her two pregnancies'. The 'Jab We Met' star welcomed her second child, a baby boy, on February 21, 2021.

Kareena and her husband Saif Ali Khan shifted to a new abode ahead of the arrival of their second son. The couple, who is parents to four-year-old Taimur Ali Khan, celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary in October 2020.
On the professional front, Kareena will be next seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. The film co-starring Aamir Khan is the Hindi adaptation of 'Forrest Grump'. The comedy drama, directed by Advait Chandan, is slated to hit the silver screens in December 2021.
