These pictures were posted with the caption 'Then' and 'Now' and have been going viral for a week now.
The actress herself had posted the pictures on the left, on her Instagram page sometime back. She wrote a very long note with the pictures which did not only give the description of the pictures but also spoke about how She was never ashamed of her weight then and is proud to have lost weight now too.
The actress took the step to make a point about body-shaming.
It read.. "Came across these pics of mine from school and college days. (White one was in std 9th & pink one was right after my std 12th exams).
Whn I look at these pics I feel proud of myself today not tht I felt any lesser abt myself back then. Inspite of being so big I never let ppl's comments or ideas abt me bother me. Bcoz it's my life and my body and only I hav the right to decide wht I'm gonna do with it. Then one day I decided let me try how it feels to b a little lighter and hence started my weight loss journey. It wasn't easy at all bt everytime I looked at the Progress in the mirror I got the push to do more. I had lots more energy than before and I was loving every bit of this new person I was transforming into... [contd..]"
If you could not guess the actress's name yet.. She is ZAREEN KHAN recenlty seen in 'Hate Story 3' and who made her debut in films with Salman Khan's 'Veer' and was criticized for her heavy weight then.

Zarine further mentions all the criticism she faced and how she came out strong amidst all that has shed oodles of weight to look that fit and hot today.

She further wrote, "Whn I became a part of this industry, I had lost all my weight ... Infact I was asked to put on weight Fr my first film to look the character. Unfortunately I was criticised to no end Fr my weight bt again I never let tht get to me. How cud I ? Those ppl had not seen me like the way I am in these pics here. And Fr me everything was jus an achievement to reach frm where I was to where I am.
I continued on my fitness journey irrespective Bcoz fitness Fr me is a way of life now. Along with the weight loss came a lot of stretch marks bt instead of feeling ashamed of it and trying to hide it , I believe in flaunting it . It makes me feel like a tigress with her stripes.

The pictures she shared are being circulated on the Internet as a 'Guess Who' fun activity too. Some people even wonder if that is Zareen herself? Some even guessed that was the result of a surgery!

She wrote back to us.. "Hahaha I Dnt blame them Bcoz Whn I look back at those pics I Dnt believe it myself too . Whts amazing was I never felt fat or big tht time and Thts y was never bothered ... Bt I'm very proud of the myself today fr putting in all the possible hardwork and achieving to become the person I am today ! Whn I posted tht pic I had ppl coming up to me and praising my guts to post such a pic from my past ... I cudnt understand y.. Bcoz fr me I was proud of myself then n I am proud of myself now so y wud I b ashamed to post tht pic Bcoz tht was me too once upon a time ."
She also wrote to us, "No I never ever thought that I'd ever transform myself like this ... May b the reason fr it was Tht I was never bothered abt ppl's idea of me ... I did this fr transformation fr myself ... Whn I posted tht pic of myself a got a lot of comments saying she must've gone thru surgery ... To which I only wanna say tht I belong frm a very humble middle class background where at tht time neither did I hav the knowledge abt surgery and neither the money ! Haha"
Zareen had surprised everyone when she appeared first time in her thin avatar in the 'Ready' song 'Character Dheela Hai' with Salman Khan.
