Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan has been admitted to Guru Nanak hospital in Bandra, Mumbai after she complained of breathing issues. A source close to Saroj Khan’s family told ABP News on condition of anonymity that she was hospitalised three days ago after she faced difficulty in breathing.


We further asked the source if the 71-year-old was infected with COVID-19. “She underwent test for Coronavirus as soon as she was admitted in the hospital. Thankfully, she has tested negative for the virus,” he said.

“Saroj Khan is feeling better and is likely to be discharged in a day or two. There is nothing to worry about,” the source added.

Saroj Khan has choreographed for several hit numbers in Hindi cinema. She is fondly known for choreographing the iconic dances moves of Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi in their films. Some of her notable songs include, ‘Ek Do Teen’, ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga’, ‘Kaatein Nhi Katte’, ‘Humko Aaj Kal Hai Intezaar’, ‘Maar Dala’, ‘Mere Hantho Mein Nau Nau Churiyaan’ and ‘Yeh Ishq Haye’.

On the professional front, Saroj Khan last choreographed a song in Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Kalank’ in 2019.
