After 'Padmaavat', which released in January 2018, Deepika Padukone is all set to win hearts yet again with her next film 'Chhapaak' directed by 'Raazi' & 'Talvaar' director Meghna Gulzar. Featuring Vikrant Massey opposite Deepika Padukone, 'Chaapaak' is inspired from the real life story of acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. In 'Chhapaak', Deepika will be seen playing the role of an acid attack survivor named 'Malti' and the film is creating huge buzz ever since the actress' first look was released earlier this year.

After a long wait, the makers of 'Chhapaak' have finally released the trailer of 'Chhapaak' today (10th December) on the occasion of 'World Human Rights Day' which is a perfect coincidence given that the film is based on the life and survival of an acid attack victim.

The film revolves around Deepika Padukone aka 'Malti' and the actress has got into the skin of her character. After giving splendid performance in various films including 'Piku', 'Padmaavat', 'Chennai Express' and 'Bajirao Mastani', Deepika Padukone's portrayal of an acid attack survivor will shake you up. Vikrant Massey made his presence felt in the trailer and the film might prove to be a turning point in his career.

The trailer started on a high note however went a little downhill towards the end as it couldn't succeed in creating the expected impact. However, the movie is looking very interesting overall and there are full chances that 'Chhapaak' might turn out to be another memorable film in Deepika's career.
