Fans of Sonakshi Sinha will be in for a sweet surprise to see that actress has released her first look as a journalist from her upcoming film 'Noor''. Sonakshi, who is experimenting with diversified roles has signed director Sunhil Sippy's film in which she gets to portray as a witty journalist.

The novel by Saba Imtiaz is said to be a comedy crime-thriller revolving around the life of a young protagonist, Ayesha and about several events of violence and disturbance that take place in the city of Karachi due to poor security measures. It talks about various situations in Karachi and how they affect peoples' lives through social damages as reported by the main character, Ayesha.

The movie 'Noor' is said to be based on a book titled, ''Karachi, You're Killing Me''. The movie will revolve around the life of Sonakshi Sinha who is portraying the role of a journalist in the film. This 'Life drama' is slated to go on floors this July in 2016. Currently, Sonakshi is busy wrapping up her action flick 'Akira' and 'Force 2' alongside John Abraham.
