Who can ever forget Urmila Matondkar’s ‘Chamma Chamma’ song from the film ‘China Gate’? The iconic dance number and Urmila’s latkas and jhatkas are still fresh in the minds of movie buffs. Re-creating an old song is the new trend in Bollywood  as we have seen reprised versions of ‘Ek Do Teen’ and ‘Dilbar’ in ‘Baaghi 2’ and ‘Satyameva Jayate’ respectively. The makers of Arshad Warsi starrer ‘Fraud Saiyaan’ have re-created ‘Chamma Chamma’ for their film and it is former Bigg Boss contestant Elli AvrRam, who has stepped into the shoes of Urmila for the song.

The ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’ actress is all set make several hearts skip a beat with her dance moves. The BB 7 contestant took to Twitter and Instagram to share pictures from the film’s set.

‘’Coming soon ... very soon. 'Chamma Chamma' recreation. But first I have to say I'm really grateful to be part of the remake of such a timeless iconic song with stunning and powerful Urmila Matondkar. A big thank you to Tips official, Prakash Jha," Elli wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Elli, while talking to a leading daily, expressed her excitement on dancing to the iconic foot tapping number.

"I love the song and adore Urmila Matondkar in it. I got really excited when I was called to the Tips office for this song. It’s an epic one and I hope I can match Urmila’s energy and enigma in the remake," the former ‘Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ host told New India Express.
