‘Chaalbaaz In London’: Shraddha Kapoor To Play Double Role For First Time, Says 'Looking Forward To This Journey'

Shraddha Kapoor will be seen playing a double role in ‘Chaalbaaz In London’, which will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Ahmed Khan.

Who can forget late Sridevi’s power-packed performance in ‘ChaalBaaz’? The ‘Mr. India’ actress won the prestigious Filmfare Awards for her performance in the slapstick film which also starred Sunny Deol and Rajinikanth. Guess what? Bhushan Kumar and Ahmed Khan have joined hands to produce the remake of the popular flick. Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor will be seen playing a double role for the first time in her career.

Shraddha Kapoor, who was last seen in ‘Baaghi 3’, expressed her excitement on working in ‘Chaalbaaz In London’. She said that she is looking forward to working with Pankaj Parashar.

“I feel blessed and fortunate that the makers thought of me for Chaalbaaz In London. This will be my first ever double role and it will definitely be challenging for any actor. Although there's a huge responsibility on me, I'm happy that Bhushan sir and Ahmed sir feel that I will be able to pull it off. Also, it’s a great opportunity and a learning experience for me to work with Pankaj Sir who has entertained us for so many years. Looking forward to this journey,” Shraddha said in a statement.

The official Twitter handle of T-Series shared an announcement video along with the caption, “We're so glad to announce that the gorgeous @ShraddhaKapoor will be starring in our next film, Chaalbaaz in London! Directed by @pankujparashar & produced by #BhushanKumar, #KrishanKumar, @khan_ahmedasas & @shairaahmedkhan.”

‘Chaalbaaz In London’ will be produced by T- Series, Ahmed Khan and Shaira Khan's Paper Doll Entertainment. Pankaj Parashar, who directed Sridevi starrer ‘Chaalbaaz’, will don helm the upcoming film.

The makers have planned to shoot an entire schedule in London. They are currently busy roping in other actors for different roles.

Talking about Shraddha, the ‘Street Dancer 3D’ star will be next seen in Luv Ranjan’s untitled film. The romantic drama is slated to hit the silver screens on March 18, 2022. Shraddha will be sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor for the first time in her career.
