New Delhi: After the super-success of their last films 'Bala' & 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', Bollywood stars Ayushmann Khurrana & Vicky Kaushal's latest releases 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' & 'Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship' respectively hit the screens this Friday (February 21) amid huge buzz & expectations. Despite the clash, both the films did well at the box-office on the fist day. While 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' set the cash registers jingling & collected minted Rs 9.55 crore, 'Bhoot' had a decent opening with collection of Rs 5.10 crore.


Ayushmaan's latest release, which focuses on homosexuality, has witnessed an impressive jump on second day (February 22) whereas Vicky Kaushal's 'Bhoot' registered a limited growth.

'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' has collected Rs. 11.08 on Saturday thereby making the grand total to Rs. 20.63 Crore. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the second day box office collection of 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' on Twitter.


He wrote, "#ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan jumps on Day 2... Metros witness growth, while mass pockets remain strictly average... The trend suggests further growth on Day 3... Eyes ₹ 34 cr [+/-] weekend, which is a healthy score... Fri 9.55 cr, Sat 11.08 cr. Total: ₹ 20.63 cr. #India biz. #SMZS"


Whereas, two-day grand total of 'Bhoot' is Rs. 10.62 crore as the film collected Rs. 5.52 crore on Saturday. Sharing 'Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship' second day collection with fans, Adarsh wrote, "#Bhoot witnesses limited growth on Day 2... Decent in mass circuits, but lacks the spark at key metros... Day 3 is pivotal, needs to recover lost ground to post a respectable total... Eyes ₹ 16 cr [+/-] weekend... Fri 5.10 cr, Sat 5.52 cr.
