Having arrived in the court in his own car int he noon with bodyguard Shera, Salman left for jail in a police vehicle an hour ago.
Salman's lawyers have appealed for bail in the sessions court but the hearing in the bail application to take place only tomorrow. Salman will have to stay inside jail for tonight.
