New Delhi: After releasing two teasers, the makers of the film ‘Bholaa, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, have released the film's trailer. 'Bholaa', is the official Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil superhit film ‘Kaithi’.

The trailer begins with a chat between Ajay Devgn and Tabu. Tabu offers him a chance to meet his young daughter in exchange for help against the smugglers. Bholaa agrees to it. He is seen doing death-defining stunts and high on action fight scenes. Ajay is also seen having a fight sequence using Trishul, a weapon used by lord Shiva.

The trailer also gives a glimpse Deepak Dobriyal and Vineet Kumar’s characters.

"This is the first trailer launch that happened in 3D. We had to do a lot of running around. I think it's different in 3D," Ajay said during the launch.

Talking about his fight sequence with a Trishul, Ajay said: "I think it was very interesting. It was a little difficult but new too. We had to design, execute and perform it. Had to maintain a sensibility and had a responsibility as I had a Trishul in my hand."

Tabu, who was also present at the trailer launch, said Ajay fits the bill perfectly for the role.

"I don't think any other actor would've been fit for this role as much as he fits in it. The image he has is defined by his intensity. It doesn't mean that other roles don't suit him,” she said during the launch.

"But the way he is in real life he has chosen characters like that too and that's his identity."

Tamil hit 'Kaithi' starred Karthi in the lead and was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is about Dilli, an ex-convict, who wants to meet his daughter for the first time after leaving prison. However, his attempts are interrupted due to a drug raid planned by Inspector Bejoy.

Ajay Devgn will also be donning the director’s hat for the film. 'Bholaa', is produced by his banner Ajay Devgn Films, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures. It will release on March 30, 2023.

'Bholaa' marks Ajay's fourth directorial film after 'U, Me aur Hum' in 2008, 'Shivaay' in 2016, and 'Runway 34' in 2022.
