On a related note, 'Bala' co-starring Javed Jaffrey, Saurabh Shukla and Seema Pahwa was mired in controversy after the makers of 'Ujda Chaman accused the producers of the film of copyright infringement as both the movies have have protagonists who are young men suffering from premature balding. 'Ujda Chaman' makers even dragged Bala's producer Dinesh Vijan to court but later they withdrew the case.

'Bala' has turned out to be the seventh consecutive success of Ayushmann Khurrana after 'Bareilly Ki Varfi', 'Shubh Mangal Savdhaan', 'AndhaDhun', 'Badhaai Ho', 'Article 15' and ;Dream Girl'. Now, it'll be interesting to see if 'Balal' will cross the 100 crore mark at the box-office or not.
