Poster of Baahubali 2

The SS Rajamouli directed epic saga has everything he promised to fans, from grand sets to high-voltage drama drenched in emotions. And most importantly it answers the question we all have been patiently waiting for the last two years i.e why Kattappa killed Baahubali?

The movie is a sheer brilliance of terrific storytelling, top notch actors combined with a visual grandeur, jaw-dropping stunts and a strong plot that eventually turns into a cinematic experience that is rarely seen in Bollywood.

STORY: Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is a seamless continuation of the first part, starting just where it ended. The story begins with Amrendra Baahubali making a spectacular entry to tame an elephant that comes in his mother's(Ramya Krishna)way. Right from his entry, Prabhas as Baahubali steals the show and takes you to an altogether another level. The story then shows the blossoming love between Mahendra & Devsena(Anushka Shetty),their love at first sight eventually turns into Mahendra losing the crown that goes to his evil brother Bhallaldeva(Rana Daggubati).

The film's turning point is when Devasena rejects the marriage proposal of Bhallaladeva sent by the Sivagami (Ramya Krishnan), queen of Mahishmati and in a quick turn of events, Bhallaldeva is crowned king and Baahubali made his army chief. Soon after losing the throne Bahubaali & his pregnant wife Devsena are also asked to leave the kingdom by Shivagami and then begins the evil plot against Mahendra(who turns out to be common people's king) by his brother and his uncle. The story then unfolds the 'why Kattapa killed Baahubali' track which is quite shocking to know and also turns out to be the end of flashback and the current track of Amrendra Baahubali & his revenge begins!

Acting: There is not a single actor in the movie who fails to leave his/her impression, We have seen Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj's brilliant performances in the first part and they are class apart in the second part as well! The new addition, Anushka Shetty as fiery princess Devsena, who stands against the wrong leaves her mark and despite being a multi-starrer movie every character has a fair share who justifies his/her part very well. You will also see Kattapa's comic side in the movie who otherwise is quite serious throughout. Prabhas and Rana Daggubati owns the movie with their power packed performances and expressions.

Music: The movie has some surreal songs with splendid views plus there is an anthem for Mahishmati too,the 'Hamsa Nava' song takes you to a fairy tale world with a prince & his future wife romancing on a Disneyesque palatial ships that fly! And if it was Kailash Kher's 'kaun hai wo kaun hai wo kahan se wo aaya' that wowed you with his inspiring voice in the first part, then this time Daler Mehndi’s high-on-energy number gets full marks.

Baahubali 2 has every element that is needed in a blockbuster i.e, a hero, a villain, great visual effects and a happy ending and as expected, Baahubali: the conclusion is bigger, better and grander. Rajmouli is a sure shot winner with this one and has created a bar which is going to be very difficult for any filmmaker to cross!

And considering the pre-release buzz that this magnum opus has created we won't get shocked if the movie becomes the highest grossing of all time.
