New Delhi: There have been reports about Salman Khan and director Atlee collaborating on a film soon. There were also rumours that he recently met with the director to talk about the movie alongside his brother, actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan. In a recent Mid Day interview, Arbaaz clarified these rumours.
Arbaaz Khan on never meeting Atlee
When the newspaper questioned Arbaaz about whether he and Salman had recently met Atlee to talk about a movie, he replied, “It's just a rumour that Salman, Atlee and I have met. I've never met Atlee in my life. I've never seen him, forget meeting him. Until you hear from the horse's mouth, you shouldn't believe (the rumours) too much.”
With the release of 'Jawan,' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee made his Bollywood debut, and fans were ecstatic about the idea of Salman possibly working with the director.
Arbaaz was also questioned about the possibility of producing ‘Dabangg 4’ in light of the fact that the third installment did not fare as well as the first two. The first section was directed by Abhinav Kashyap, the second by Arbaaz, and the third by Prabhu Deva.
'Dabanng 4' in pipeline?
When asked if 'Dabangg 4' was in works and if Arbaaz will direct it, the producer said, "Right now, both of us are in the middle of our (upcoming projects). He has (to shoot) a film with Sajid Nadiadwala. Salman is certain that he wants to do Dabangg 4, as am I. We will do it when the time is right. I don't know if I will direct it. I would love to, but it hasn't been decided yet.”
Arbaaz was most recently in the headlines for his marriage to makeup artist Shura Khan, and he was last seen in the 2023 movie 'Farrey'. Salman, with the exception of a brief appearance in 'Pathaan', was last seen in 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' and 'Tiger 3'.
