New Delhi: Remember the iconic film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ starring Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan. The massive blockbuster was Anushka’s first film and the actor’s debut with the Yash Raj banner proved to make a big mark in her career.


Recently, Anushka Sharma revealed that Aditya Chopra did not want Anushka Sharma to reveal details of her signing ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ to anyone.


Yash Raj Films' head honcho Aditya Chopra told actress Anushka Sharma to not tell her parents about her debut film 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' starring Shah Rukh Khan.


'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' released in 2008. The film was written and directed by Aditya Chopra who returned to direction after an 8-year hiatus, following his previous directorial venture, Mohabbatein (2000), which also starred Shah Rukh Khan.


In the docu-series 'The Romantics' which was released on Netflix recently, actress Anushka Sharma revealed how Aditya Chopra wanted to keep her debut under wraps, to an extent that he told Anushka to not even tell her parents about ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’.


Anushka said in the series, "Everything was under wraps. Nobody knew about it and Adi didn't want anybody to know that I was the lead actor. Adi literally said to me, 'you can't tell anybody. You cannot even tell your parents'. I said, "Huh?"
