Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif decided to part ways while shooting Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos'. Rumours started doing the round that their personal life started affecting the movie's progress and hence the movie got delayed. Anurag Basu has decided to speak about it and gave some important insights.

During an interaction with a popular daily, director Anurag Basu denied all these rumours. He stated, "They are very professional people. There was never a problem because of them. A lot of news came in...which was funny. There was one about them not sharing a makeup van. But the truth is that they were never sharing a van. No actor shares a makeup van even if they are dating."

He further talked about cold vibes and fight between the two on the sets. He said, "No one was on my set to see any cold vibes. I don’t know whether there were cold vibes or not… I am bothered about what comes on my screen. Usse pehle and baad, I am not bothered about how they are."

Anurag stated that casting a couple is a disadvantage. When asked the reason, he said, "If you are shooting a scene that shows someone falling in love and if the actors are already in love, then it doesn’t come out well. You have to tell them that there is nothing between you..a lot of imagination and homework needs to be done."
