New Delhi: Thursday (April 13) marks the birth anniversary of the late actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik. The actor died in March this year due to a heart attack in Delhi. Anil Kapoor, who was one of his closest friends, remembered him on his birth anniversary. The actor took to Instagram and posted a video montage featuring the two in their films together.

Anil wrote in the caption, "While I sit here trying to find the right words or just any words really to express what I feel right now…I want to fill books telling you what you mean to me but I know you already knew that…in the 3 mins of this video, I relived so many of our memories. I wish we had more time…I wish I could call you and tell you just one more time how lucky I am to have you in my life… I miss you beyond words Satish… I pray that everyone has a friend like you in their life because you were a true blessing… Happy birthday my friend…"

Satish Kaushik had worked in many films with Anil Kapoor including ‘Mr India’, ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’, ‘Gharwali Baharwali’. They last worked together in the 2022 film ‘Thar’.

He wrote in the caption that he will be celebrating his late friend’s birthday today, along with Satish’s wife Shashi and daughter Vanshika. The caption, which is written in Hindi, can be translated as: "My dear friend Satish Kaushik, I wish you a very happy birthday! Today, you would have turned 67.
