New Delhi: After sharing the first poster of ‘Angrezi Medium’ featuring Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan, the makers of the film have released the trailer on Thursday (February 13). The comedy drama is the sequel of ‘Hindi Medium’, which released in 2017. Ardent fans of Irrfan Khan have been eagerly waiting for the film’s trailer and we have to say it won’t disappoint them.


The trailer of ‘Angrezi Medium’ opened with Champak (Irrfan Khan) attending his daughter Tarika’s (Radhika Madan) function at her school. Champak gave a speech in broken English. “Inside I am very emotional and outside I am very happy,” he said while addressing the audience at the school ceremony.

Few seconds in the trailer, we saw Tarika asking her dad to send her abroad for higher studies. Champak would go against the odds to fulfill his daughter’s dreams and that forms the crux of the story.

Maddock Films shared the trailer of YouTube along with the caption, “A heartwarming and hilarious story of the unconditional love between a father and his daughter. A tale of unbreakable friendships and small-town obsessions with the ‘foreign’ dream. Angrezi Medium makes us realize that sometimes people may travel very far in search of answers that were always within them.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan is playing the role of a cop in 'Angrezi Medium'. The film co-starring Deepak Dobriyal, Dimple Kapadia, Ranvir Shorey, Pankaj Tripathi and Kiku Sharda has been directed by Homi Adajania. It is slated to hit the silver screens on March 20, 2020.
