Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are on cloud nine after welcoming a little bundle of joy into their lives. The 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' actress gave birth to their first child on January 11 at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. The Indian Cricket team captain took to social media to announce the arrival of their baby girl. Kohli thanked the fans for their love and prayers and expressed his excitement on starting a 'new chapter of their lives'. Several tinsel town celebs including Madhuri Dixit, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Kapoor and Katrina Kaif congratulated the new parents in town on social media.

Amitabh Bachchan Wishes Virushka In Special Style, Tweets Viral Message


Big B shared a forwarded message on Twitter about the Indian cricketers and their kids. Interestingly, the post mentioned how many top Indian cricketers have been blessed with baby girls. Be it Mahendra Sigh Dhoni or Suresh Raina, leading cricket stars have welcomed little angels into their lives. The post also mentioned Virat Kohli, who recently became father of a daughter.

Amitabh Bachchan's post trended on social media as it talked about 'Future women's cricket team'. The megastar tweeted,  "An input from Ef laksh ~"... and Dhoni also has daughter .. will she be Captain?" Check it out!



Several users replied to Amitabh's post on the micro-blogging site. One wrote, "Daughters are Special. Best future Cricket team of World."



Anushka and Virat, who welcomed their first child after three years of marriage, made an earnest request to the paparazzi on Wednesday (January 13). Virushka, as fondly called by fans, urged the photographers to not click photos of their newborn baby girl and respect her privacy. They asked the shutterbugs to not share or feature any content related to their daughter.

"As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support," the couple said in a statement to the paparazzi.
