New Delhi: The Hollywood debut movie of actor Alia Bhatt, 'Heart of Stone', also starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, will be released on August 11.

In a teaser video posted on its social media platforms on Wednesday, streaming juggernaut Netflix announced the film's release date along with a handful of other films. Gal, Jamie, and Alia are joined by Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighofer, Jing Lusi, and Paul Ready in the film.

Gal is seen speaking to someone while running away from a possible threat in the 'Heart of Stone' clip that Netflix posted. The next moment we see Alia, she is seen lifting her glass to someone in a pub while wearing a bulky jacket. The video then teases a shot of actor Jamie Dornan crossing a busy street.

In a recent interview, what to anticipate from the spy action thriller has now been disclosed by Kira Goldberg and Ori Marmur, who oversee Netflix's original studio film division. Kira Goldberg and Ori Marmur discussed Tom Harper's film 'Heart of Stone' with Variety in their interview. Marmur claimed that the film is comparable to the 'Mission: Impossible' and Jason Bourne films.

"One of the things that got us really excited was the idea of doing a film in a genre that’s often dominated by men. It’s Mission: Impossible. It’s Bourne," Marmur said.

'Heart of Stone' enters a domain where men are usually the front-line actors. "Those movies always have men at the center of them. This has two strong women in Gal Gadot and Alia Bhatt who are in the middle of things. Along with Jamie Dornan they form a central trio," Netflix's representative added.

The next movie starring Alia Bhatt will be 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', which is being directed by Karan Johar and stars Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. The movie is scheduled to premiere in theatres on April 28, 2023.
