New Delhi: Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Inshallah’ were all set to clash at the box office on Eid 2020. However, the two big budget films will no longer lock horns as the release date of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ has been pre-poned to March 27, 2020.  Salman Khan and Rohit took to their respective social media handles to announce the release date of ‘Sooryavanshi’.

The change in the release date of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ didn’t go down well with the actor’s fans. Several Khiladi Kumar fans were disappointed that the ‘PadMan’ actor bowed down to Salman.

Akshay didn’t tweet anything about the new release date of ‘Sooryavanshi’, setting several trends wagging. His fans expressed their displeasure on Twitter by using hashtags like #BoycottSooryavanshi, #BoycottAkshayKumar and #ShameOnYouRohitShetty. They were miffed with Rohit Shetty's decision and #ShameOnYouRohitShetty even trended on the micro-blogging.

The ‘Kesari’ actor has finally reacted to all the rumours on ‘Sooryavanshi’ vs ‘Inshallah. Akki broke his silence on the controversy and requested his fans to refrain from getting into ‘negative’ discussion about ‘Sooryavanshi’.
