Actors Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan have expressed their excitement about the possibility of reuniting for a project, potentially a sequel to their hit 1997 romantic comedy ‘Ishq’.
Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan to reunite for Ishq 2?
The two actors were seen together on Saturday evening at the mahurat launch of the upcoming film ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’, which marks the acting debut of filmmaker Indra Kumar’s son, Aman.
Aamir Khan shared his fondness for Devgn, saying, “I feel very happy whenever I meet Ajay. We don’t meet often, but when we do, it’s always with warmth and love. I really like the person he is.”
Ajay Devgn, recalled their time together on the sets of ‘Ishq’, added, "We had so much fun while filming Ishq. We should definitely do another one." He is currently enjoying the success of his latest release, ‘Singham Again’.
Aamir Khan echoed the sentiment, saying, “Yes, we should,” before recounting a funny incident during the making of Ishq. Khan recalled how a chimpanzee attacked him during a scene, and it was Devgn who came to his rescue. "A chimpanzee attacked me once while filming a sequence. He saved me and pulled me out,” said Khan, to which Devgn humorously replied, "But it all happened because of Aamir. He was spraying water on the chimpanzee, then ran around shouting ‘bachao bachao’ like a girl."
