Akshay Kumar, who will be next seen in 'Laxmmi Bomb', prayed for the safety of the passengers and crew. He tweeted, "Terrible news! Praying for the safety of all the passengers and crew onboard the #AirIndia Express flight. My deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones."
Ajay Devgn expressed his grief and said he was 'disturbed by the flight tragedy.
"Disturbed by the #AirIndia flight tragedy. My prayers are with all the passengers and crew members onboard and deepest condolences to those who lost their loved ones," the 'Tanhaji' actor's tweeted.
Raveena Tandon called it a 'terrible tragedy' and offered condolences to the bereaved families. She wrote, "Such terrible,terrible news .Prayers and condolences to the bereaved families. #AirIndiaExpress #AirIndiaplanecrash."
Disha Patani, who will be next seen in 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' opposite Salman Khan, sent her prayers to crew members and passengers.
"Deeply shocked by the tragic crash landing of the #AirIndia aircraft that overshot the runway in Kozhikode.

Nidhhi Agerwal shared helpline number for the relatives of the passengers. She wrote, "Very devastated about the news of #keralaplanecrash my heart goes out to the people affected. This is a helpline number."
Sidharth Malhotra wished for speedy recovery of the victims on Twitter.
"Saddened to hear about all those who lost their lives in the #AirIndia flight tragedy. My prayers and condolences are with their families and loved ones. Hoping the injured recover soon," Sidharth wrote.

Several TV celebs also sent their prayers to the victims on social media. Gurmeet Choudhary tweeted, "Extremely shocked to hear about #AirIndia crash I wish strength to the families and speedy recovery of the injured."

PM Narendra Modi spoke to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan to take stock of the rescue operation that is currently underway at the crash site.
