Mumbai: Late Sushant Singh Rajput’s actor Shweta Singh Kirti penned a note on social media to inform her followers that she is going on a solitary retreat in the mountains ahead of his first death anniversary. She said that she would be cherishing her brother’s sweet memories in silence without any internet or cell services. Kirti shared a photo of the ‘Raabta’ actor on Instagram while wishing fans on Buddha Purnima.

“I am going on a solitary retreat for the whole month of June in the mountains. I won’t have access to internet or cell services there. Bhai’s one year of passing on will be spent in cherishing his sweet memories in silence. Though his physical body has left us almost a year back, the values he stood for still live on. Wishing all an auspicious Buddha Purnima,” Shweta wrote.

Sushant was found dead at his apartment on June 14, 2020 in Mumbai. His father Mr KK Singh lodged a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty, her family members and other under various sections of the PIC including abetment to suicide.

Three central agencies including the Central Bureau of Investigation, the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau are investigating Sushant’s death case.

The NCB, which is probing the drugs angle, arrested Rhea under various sections of the NDPS Act in September 2020. The Bombay High Court granted bail to the ‘Chehre’ actress on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh in October. She walked out of Byculla jail after staying behind the bars for close to one month.

Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty, who was also arrested in connection with Sushant’s case, was granted bail in December 2020.

Sushant’s death case became the talk of the town in the second half of 2020 as three leading federal agencies became involved in the investigation.
