New Delhi: It’s still hard to believe that Irrfan Khan is no more. The talented Bollywood actor passed away on April 29, leaving everyone teary-eyed. Fans loved the ‘Piku’ actor for his power-packed performances in his films. Several tinsel town celebs including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra mourned his death on social media.

Irrfan Khan’s elder son Babil Khan went down the memory lane and shared an unseen photo of the ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ actor. He revealed how Irrfan had a ‘strange understanding of rain’ which he cannot compare with any experience.

Babil shared the monochrome picture along with the caption, “He had this strange understanding of rain. I cannot compare it to anything that I have ever experienced. He could only explain it to me through the limits within what words would let him, but there was a connection that I cannot envelop even in the most beautiful language; only the desert could show, oh my god, what the rain did to him.”

Actor Satyajeet Dubey commented, “Thank you for sharing this Babil! He’s a rare soul.”

Babil often shares throwback snaps on his official Instagram handle. He had posted a video in which his father was seen taking a dive into the ice-cold water.

Babil also treated fans with a lovely throwback video in which Irrfan was seen gorging on yummy golgappas. The video went viral on social media in no time.

Irrfan’s wife Sutapa had also shared an emotional post as Mumbai witnessed the first showers of the season. She posted throwback photos and wrote, "Thank you soooo much I hear you ...yes I know it's from you to me and it touched my body and soul.. Between the two realms we have the rain connecting us."

On the professional front, Irrfan Khan was last seen in the comedy drama ‘Angrezi Medium’. The film, which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan couldn’t enjoy a long run at the box office as the cinema halls were shut due to the Coronavirus lockdown.
