While Mom Mira was at hospital with the Junior Kapoor, Shahid also had to face a tough situation when his social media profiles both on Twitter and Instagram, were hacked by a Turkish hacker. Absurd posts were made from both his accounts until Instagram got back in 2 hours. Whereas the 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' star could get his Twitter back only after about 24 hours and he has since, shared four tweets.

One was about the hack, other was to announce his son's name which is 'Zain Kapoor', next was to share the new 'BGMC' song 'Har Har Gange' and the latest is to thank Doctor Kiran.
