Legal Action Against Adipurush

'Adipurush', starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has been met with criticism shortly after its release. In a public interest lawsuit (PIL), National President of the Hindu Sena Vishnu Gupta argues that the film insults Hinduism by making fun of the Ramayana and its central characters—the Hindu gods Ram, Sita and Hanuman.

Moviegoers Are 'Disappointed' With The Dialouges Of The Film

Adipurush Increases Respect For Ramanand Sagar

Amit Bhatia of ABP News reviews the plot of the film as,"In the beginning the film doesn't seem like anything special...you don't connect with the film..but with the entry of Hanuman ji the film connects a little but not as much as you could connect with the Ramayana serial, any character you can connect with doesn't add up the way you expect and bad VFX spoils the fun of the film. If such graphics are made after spending so many crores then one wonders how Ramanand Sagar did so much in that era and made Amazing graphics. The way some dialogues are spoken, they surprise you, the faith angle has disappeared in the film, the war scenes look like zombies are fighting. Maybe there is an attempt to give hollywood touch but bollywood touch is missing."

Man Bashed Outside Theatre For Criticising Adipurush

A man outside a theatre was beaten up by fans as he criticised Prabhas starrer Adipurush after watching the first show. In a video, the man can be seen being attacked by a mob of fans who started beating him up as he talked about Prabhas not being apt for the role.

He said, "They kept all the monsters from the play station games in this one. Except for Hanuman, background score and some 3D shots here and there, there is nothing else.” When asked about Prabhas’ performance as Raghav, he said, “Absolutely doesn’t suit, in the get up. In Baahubali, he was like a king and there was a royalty. Seeing the royalty in that, they took him for this role. Om Raut did not show Prabhas properly.”
