New Delhi: It has been known to everyone that four members of the Bachchan family earlier tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. A few days back, the news of Amitabh Bachchan testing negative for the novel coronavirus came out and the whole country was rejoicing. Big B was discharged from the hospital on August 2. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan also tested negative and were discharged from the hospital a few days before the ‘Shamitabh’ star.

Though Abhishek Bachchan was in the hospital for almost 28 days, he was very active on social media updating his fans about the family’s health. He recently took to his Twitter and shared the happy news with his followers of him finally testing negative for the virus. He further added in his tweet that he has been discharged from the hospital and he kept the promise of beating coronavirus. In his tweet, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the healthcare professionals of the hospital.

The ‘Breathe’ actor’s tweet read, “A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this. thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. THANK YOU!”



In his previous tweet, the ‘Guru’ actor also prayed for everyone involved in the Air India crash.



On August 2, when Amitabh Bachchan tested negative for the virus, Junior Bachchan shared the news with his fans and thanked them for their prayers and wishes.



After all the prayers and well wishes, the whole Bachchan family has finally recovered from the deadly virus. We wish them a healthy life ahead.
