Mumbai: As the number of people getting vaccinated is increasing across the country, many Bollywood celebrities have been witnessed taking the first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine. But many celebrities have also tested positive after taking the first dosage of the coronavirus vaccine.
Last month, Aamir Khan tested positive for the virus. But it has hardly been brought to light that the 56-year-old actor tested positive after taking the first dosage of the vaccine. Akshay Kumar also tested positive for COVID-19 after taking the first jab of the vaccine. Both the B’Town actors did not publicize getting their first dosage of COVID-19.
Giving more information about this, a very reliable source related to the industry told ABP News, “The news of both Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar taking the corona vaccine is confirmed and after that, the corona report of both came positive. More cases like this are coming out in Bollywood.”
Aamir Khan was under home quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19 and Akshay Kumar was hospitalised as a precautionary measure. Both of them have now fully recovered from the virus.
Another popular actor who tested positive after taking Corona's first dosage of vaccine is Paresh Rawal. The 65-year-old actor Paresh Rawal and his wife Swaroop Rawal had themselves shared the information about the first vaccination of Corona through social media. Later, the ‘Hera Pheri’ actor told people about getting infected with COVID-19. The actor is also cured of the virus now.
Sonu Sood also tested positive for COVID-19 after taking the first dosage of the vaccine. He shared the news today on his social media. A few days back, the actor was spotted taking the vaccine as he shared the news on his social media. After taking the first dose of the vaccine, Sonu Sood had said to ABP News that his aim of taking vaccination in front of everyone and then sharing his picture with people was to reduce the fear of vaccination and motivate people to get vaccinated.
Recently, 53-year-old actor Ashutosh Rana also shared information about suffering from corona through a Facebook post. On April 6, he, along with his actress wife Renuka Shahane, took the vaccine at a Covid Center in Mumbai. Renuka Shahane herself gave information about the vaccination through social media with a shared picture of both of them.
Director Umesh Shukla, who is the director of films like 'Oh My God' and '102 Not Out', took the first dosage of vaccine on April 1, 2021. After that, he had a fever and felt some weakness. A few days later Umesh Shukla tested positive. Speaking to ABP News, Umesh Shukla said, “I am under home quarantine right now. At the moment my health is fine and I feel better than before.”
Pandit Kiran Mishra, who is known for his devotional songs and had written songs for various serials and films, died on Friday at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai due to a corona infection. Speaking to ABP News, his son Swadesh Mishra told that his 67-year-old father also took the first dose of the Corona vaccine 15 days ago.
Many other Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Waheeda Rehman, Hema Malini, Jeetendra, Rakesh, Johnny Lever, Kamal Haasan, Neena Gupta, Shefali Shah, Director Raju Hirani have taken the first jab of COVID-19 vaccine.
