New Delhi: A Delhi Court on Tuesday (January 7) issued death warrant to the four convicts in the Nirbhaya gang-rape case. The four convicts will be hanged on January 22 in Tihar Jail. Several Bollywood and television celebrities have hailed the court order. The likes of Harshdeep Kaur and Manveer Gurjar took to Twitter to react on the judgment and heave a sigh of relief & justice after the verdict was passed. The hashtag #Nirbhaya trended on the micro-blogging site with over 20k tweets.
Singer Harshdeep Kaur said that she was relieved to read the news. "Relieved to read this news!! The culprits of Nirbhaya's case to be hanged on 22nd Jan!! Justice is finally being served," the 'Dilbaro' singer tweeted.
'Bigg Boss 10' winner Manveer Gurjar wrote, "Late but Justice Served #nirbhayaverdict #Nirbhaya."
