Miss Universe Crown And Prize Money: India's Harnaaz Sandhu has won the Miss Universe 2021 title and crown. Sandhu won the title at the age of 21. She hails from Punjab. After a gap of 21 years, Sandhu has made India proud by winning the crown. The 70th Miss Universe Pageant took place in Israel on December 12 this year. This is the third time that the Miss Universe title has come to India.

The Mouawad designers then created the Mouawad Power of Unity Crown.
Crown Price:
Coming to the price, the crown is priced at 5 million US dollars, which in Indian currency would estimate at Rs 37,8790,000 i.e. more than Rs 37 crores. According to reports, Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi in 2019 and Miss Mexico Andrea Meza in 2020 have worn the world's most expensive crown now, worn by Miss India Harnaaz Sandhu.
Crown's Features:
Decorated on the head of Miss Universe, the crown is studded with 18 Carat Gold, 1,770 Diamonds, shield-cut Golden Canary Diamond in centrepiece weighing 62.83 carats. The interwoven leaves, petals and vines in the crown represent the communities of seven continents. This crown is inspired by nature, strength, beauty, femininity and unity.
Miss Universe Winner's Prize Money
The Miss Universe Organization never reveals the prize money offered to the Miss Universe. However, it is said to be a reward in lakhs. Miss Universe is allowed to stay in the Miss Universe apartment in New York for a year. This apartment has to be shared with Miss USA. All amenities, like groceries and transport, are provided here for Miss Universe during this one year.
Facilities provided to Miss Universe:
Miss Universe is given an assistant and a team of makeup artists. Makeup, hair products, shoes, clothes, jewellery, skincare are all paid for a year. Best photographers are given to the winner to create portfolios to give them a chance in modelling. The winner is given professional stylists, nutritionists, dermatologist, and dental services. She is also given entry in exclusive events, parties, premieres, screening, castings. Travelling privilege and hotel accommodation are also paid for. The winner is given a chance to tour the world.
Miss Universe's responsibility:
Miss Universe gets all these luxuries but she is also given huge responsibilities. She has to attend events, parties, charity, press conferences as chief ambassador of the Miss Universe Organization.
