New Delhi: After 'Mirzapur' and 'Mirzapur 2' gathered great attention and appreciation for its stellar cast performances and plot, fans have been eagerly waiting for 'Mirzapur 3', the third installment of the Amazon Prime series. On Thursday, Shweta Tripathi shared a video of herself prepping for her character Golu Gupta from the show.
In the video that Shweta shared on her official Instagram handle, we see her taking rigorous physical training, practicing boxing for her role. Looks like Golu is going to amp up in Season 3 completely. Shweta captioned the video, "Golu 3.0 @battatawada ready for action in Mirzapur!"
Although Shweta has acted in numerous acclaimed films and won accolades for her performances, she is best known for her character Golu Gupta in 'Mirzapur'. Besides Shweta, 'Mirzapur 3' will also feature Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Harshita Gaur, Priyanshu Painyuli, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Anjum Sharma, among others.
On Thursday, Vijay Varma also announced on his social media handle that he had begin filming for 'Mirzapur 3'.
'Mirzapur 3' will be directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer and produced by Excel media and Entertainment.
