Mimicry Artist Recreates Shehnaaz Gill's Accent In Hilarious Video, Internet Says 'Itna Accurate Nahi Hona Tha'

A social media influencer and mimicry performer recently uploaded a video of herself mimicking Shehnaaz Gill's 'cute' accent.

New Delhi: Shehnaaz Gill anchors a celebrity chat show and recently made her Bollywood debut in 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' with Salman Khan. On her show Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill, she has conducted interviews with celebrities like Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. A social media influencer and mimicry performer recently uploaded a video of herself mimicking Shehnaaz Gill's 'cute' accent. While some people on social media enjoy Shehnaaz Gill's impersonation, some followers believe she was making fun of the actor. 

In her caption for a video she uploaded to Instagram Reels on Tuesday, Dharna Durga referred to Shehnaaz Gill as the "Cutest show host EVER." An audience of Instagram fans adored Dharna's video in which she spoke in a combination of Punjabi and Hindi due to her imitation, facial emotions, body language, and hand gestures. She states in the video, "Mere ko na dimag khane mein bada maza aata hai (I enjoy eating people's heads)" at one point.

Actress and social media influencer Dolly Singh commented on her "spot-on" impersonation of Shehnaaz in the video by writing, "INSANEEEEE." Someone said, "Too good, yaar (friend)." One more commented, "One reel from her is just not enough. Every time I see a reel from @dharnaaaaa I have to go to her page and rewatch some old ones." Itna accurate nahin hona tha Dharnaaaaaa (too exact) was another statement. One person also wrote, "Nice try, but Shehnaaz jab bolti hai funny lagta hai... maybe she does it naturally isliye (It is a good attempt, but when Shehnaaz speaks, it is actually funny)."

Some people weren't as wowed. It was a solid attempt, but not as good as Shehnaaz, said one comment. One person wrote, "I don't understand why people are thinking this is like Shehnaaz in any way. Except for using her words, nothing matches." A fan also wrote, "Kisi ke accent ka mazak banana, usko padna nahi aata hai ye bolna it's not funny (It's not funny to mock a person, say they don't know how to read)." One fan wrote, "I don't like this video it's felt like trolling."

Shehnaaz, who participated in season 13 of Bigg Boss, made her Bollywood debut on April 21 with the release of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The action movie also features Bhumika Chawla, Pooja Hegde, and Raghav Juyal in addition to Salman Khan.
