Milind Soman’s wife Ankita Konwar recently had an ask me session on Instagram and once again the age gap of 26 years between Milind and her popped up during an interactive session with her Instafam.

Ankita has addressed the age gap between them on several occasions and the topic ever since the duo got married and on Wednesday, when a user asked her: "How did you tackle/ manage this Indian stereotype of 'Don't marry an older man'?" Ankita explained that stereotypes are a universal concept and wrote: "Anything that's not common in a society, people usually like to talk about it. And it's not just limited to India. We as a species, have a tendency to get weird about the unknown, the unexplored, AKA fear. A survival skill." She added, "And sometimes we are not conscious enough to distinguish between the utility and the waste of that skill. I have always done what makes me happy."

Ankita also chose to reply to an internet user asking her about having kids in the most epic manner. A netizen asked, “It has been years of your marriage, what do you think about family planning?” and Ankita’s response was, “We are a planned family”.

Milind Soman married Ankita Konwar, a former air-hostess, in a tradational Maharashtrian ceremony in April 2018. A few months after the wedding, the couple exchanged wedding vows in a dreamy 'barefoot wedding' in Spain.

The actor was earlier married to actress Mylene Jampanoi.
