New Delhi: Miss World 2017 and actress Manushi Chhillar made her Red Carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival, on Tuesday. Manushi looked like a real-life princess in her extravagant gown, which included a white lace bodice and matching trail that swept the floor behind her.

Following in the trajectory set by Bollywood’s megawatt stars and her Miss World sisters, Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra, Manushi  Chhillar looked like a vision in white wearing an environmentally conscious couture by Fovari. Beautifully laced in savoir and white finesse, actor Manushi Chhillar decorated the evening of the Cannes Film Festival with her elegance in the oo-shoulder white gown that she paired with neon heels. Adding to her beauty was a statement necklace that elevated her look.

Earlier, footage of Manushi Chhillar departing for Cannes Film Festival 2023 from Mumbai airport appeared online. She wore blue jeans, a white tank top, and brown boots in the videos and images posted on paparazzi and fan pages. At the airport, she also posed with photographers.

Talking about her Cannes debut, Manushi said, "I am happy to see more representation from India at Cannes". If you talk about the film Industry, there was a time when you would only have a few Indian actors go for these festivals (like Cannes). It is good that the numbers have been growing and there is more interest in this part of the world. I'm happy to see more representation from India."

Manushi won the title of Miss World in 2017 and made her acting debut in Samrat Prithviraj in 2022 alongside Akshay Kumar. She portrayed Princess Sanyogita, Prithviraj's wife, in Chandraprakash Dwivedi's historical drama. She will next be seen alongside Vicky Kaushal in the Vijay Krishna Acharya-directed comedy The Great Indian Family. Tehran, a movie starring John Abraham and set for release later this year, also features Manushi.
