On Tuesday, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn's car was stopped from entering a film studio in Mumbai for around 15 minutes by a man who was apparently upset with the actor’s tweet regarding the farmers' protest in the country.
"He is against Punjab," the man says in a viral video clip, pointing at the actor, who was sitting in the front passenger seat of his BMW car.
The incident took place outside Film City, Goregaon and Ajay Devgn was on his way to the shoot of ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.
The man was identified as Rajdeep Ramesh Singh was soon arrested and according to ANI, Mumbai police has confirmed that Rajdeep Ramesh Singh was later released on bail. When arrested, Singh was charged with sections 504 and 506 (ii) of IPC.
According to reports, Rajdeep blocked Ajay Devgn’s car and urged him to speak about the farmers' protest. When Devgn's bodyguard asked the man to move away it led to a scuffle between them.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ajay Devgn was last seen starring in 'Tanhaji'. He will be next seen starring in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', 'Maidaan', 'Sooryavanshi', 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India', 'Mayday' and 'RRR'.
