New Delhi: Malaika Arora is in the limelight these days for her new show 'Moving In With Malaika' where she comes up with interesting stuff in each passing episode and also makes certain revelations. She also tried her hand at stand-up comedy in the fourth episode of the show, and with her sarcastic remarks, she really killed it. Additionally, she took a jab at everyone who made fun of her walking style, her divorce from Arbaaz Khan, and her romance with Arjun Kapoor.
Here is a promo clip of the fourth episode that was shared on her Instagram handle.
Malaika retaliated against trolls who called her out for dating a "younger man" after taking multiple digs at her sister Amrita Arora and her friend Anusha Dandekar. She further took to her trolls and said, "And unfortunately not only am I old, but I am also dating a younger man. I mean I have guts. I mean I am ruining his life, right? Just a PSA for everyone, I am not ruining his life.”
She also said that Arjun is not in school and it's not as if he could not focus on his studies and that both of them are consenting adults.
“It’s not like he was going to school and he couldn’t focus on his studies and I told him to come with me. I mean, every time we are on a date, it’s not like he is bunking classes. I didn’t catch him on the street while he was catching Pokémon. He is a goddamn grown-up man. Mard hai woh. We are two consenting adults. If an older man dates a younger girl, he is a player. But if an older woman dates a younger man, she is a cougar. That is not fair.”
Malaika Arora's stand-up comedy performance was missed by Arjun Kapoor, but he still sent her a touching video message. In the video, Arjun claimed that Malaika has always captivated the stage and reminded her that others will laugh at her before themselves joining in on the fun.
“This is already a battle you have won. The fact that you agreed to do this and you want to do this. And I know you and you are the funniest person around and that’s because you always laugh at all my jokes. I know you have been afraid about landing the lines, about learning them, about looking into people’s eyes, about not being so conscious about cracking a joke in public or on stage. But you got this," he said.
