New Delhi: Saisha Shinde, a famous trans fashion designer rose to prominence after appearing in Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Lock Upp’. Saisha is quite candid about the struggles she had on the route to self-acceptance. She recently underwent face feminisation surgery and has spoken up about her experience.

Feminisation refers to a set of surgical and non-surgical procedures that give a transgender man a more feminine appearance. Procedures include lip and cheek implant surgery, chin and jaw reduction surgery, and other similar procedures.

Sharing a close-up picture of her face from before and after facial feminisation surgery, Saisha wrote, “I came out publicly to live a free life without any expectations as to what it will result in … and today as well I want to show my face … without any expectations … but I want to be free and I want to be happy … So here I am … with makeup and without before my facial feminisation surgery and after.”

In an earlier post, she posted images of herself before and after her ‘Body Feminisation procedure’, captioning them, "I went from over weight to skinny to muscular to now trying to achieve the feminine !"

She added, "My journey from podgy to skinny to muscular to podgy again to feminine is truly something I’m proud of … my body has stood by me whenever I took the decision to change it …"

At the end of her post, Saisha thanked the medical staff and mentioned all her surgeries. She wrote, "So here are the surgeries I’ve done to feminise my body yet again thanks to the brilliant team at @drparagtelang @ffsbydrparagtelang
