Kundali Bhagya and Choti Sarrdaarni fame TV actress Isha Anand Sharma secretly tied the knot with her boyfriend Vasdev Singh Jasrotia in her hometown, Rajasthan on May 2. In fact, the couple had a court marriage on February 2 last year.
The actress opened up about her secret wedding to etimes and said, “We wanted to have a grand wedding with our relatives and friends in attendance. However, we had to postpone the plan due to the pandemic. We were waiting for things to return to normalcy to organise the wedding in a way we had envisioned it. But at our families’ insistence, we decided not to delay it any further and had an intimate wedding, complete with rituals, in Rajasthan.”
Owing to the COVID situation, the couple kept the wedding low-key, taking precautions from getting the guests tested to maintaining social distance sanitisation, wearing masks etc. Check out the actress’ wedding pics going viral on social media.
Reportedly, the actress met Vasdev who is a pilot by profession, two-and-a-half years ago and the two fell in love a year later.
Talking about what made her fall in love with him, Isha told etimes, “Vasu is mature and intelligent, while I am childish and goofy. So, there is a fine balance between us. He keeps correcting me. That’s the main reason I fell in love with him and his IQ.”
She further shared, 'I was shooting for Kundali Bhagya close to his residence, so we would often meet after my pack up. With time, we realised that we were meant for each other. We dated for a year before we got married.'
The actress plans to host a reception for her industry friends soon after things get back to normal.
