New Delhi: The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has not been very kind to us this year including the Entertainment industry. Many celebrities have contracted the virus including Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Neetu Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and many more. Earlier today, ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ actor Varun Dhawan also confirmed that he has tested positive for COVID-19 on his social media.

According to reports, Kriti Sanon is being said to have tested positive for COVID-19. Though the actress' team has denied such claims, according to a report of Filmfare, a source informed that the ‘Panipat’ actress has tested positive for coronavirus.

Kriti was reportedly shooting for her upcoming film with Rajkummar Rao in Chandigarh and she also shared a story on Instagram disclosing that she has wrapped up her shooting schedule in the city.

The ‘Luka Chuppi’ actress started her Bollywood career with the 2014 movie ‘Heropanti’ opposite Tiger Shroff. She then went on to star in movies like ‘Dilwale’, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, ‘Raabta’, ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Panipat’ and others.

Kriti has also recently been roped in to portray the role of ‘Sita’ in the Prabhas starrer ‘Adipurush’ reportedly. Earlier there has been a lot of speculations as to who will be portraying the character of ‘Sita’. It included big names like Anushka Shetty, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani, and Keerthy Suresh.

The actress’ sister Nupur Sanon is also all set for her Bollywood debut opposite Tiger Shroff in ‘Ganpat’ reportedly.

On the professional front, Kriti Sanon will be next seen ‘Mimi’ alongside Sai Tamhankar and Pankaj Tripathi where she will be seen playing the role of a surrogate mother. She also has ‘Bachchan Pandey’ opposite Akshay Kumar.
