Han So Hee And Ryu Jun Yeol: The Complete Dating Timeline Of New K-Town Couple

Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee started dating shortly after the former ended a seven-year relationship with singer and actress Hyeri. 

New Delhi: Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee, the newest K-town couple, came under heavy scrutiny. The South Korean news site Dispatch has now confirmed that Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol were in fact together on their most recent trip to Hawaii, throwing fuel to the flames.

The news was initially revealed by a fan who shared a photo of the stars with the hashtags 'Reply 1988' and 'Nevertheless', stating they looked cute together in a Hawaiian swimming pool. The agencies first refuted the dating rumours, but soon after, Han So Hee and Hyeri, a former member of Girls' Day who dated Ryu Jun Yeol for seven long years, started a heated internet debate. As a result, the agencies immediately confirmed the relationship, and Han So Hee confirmed it in a long blog post shortly after that.

Dispatch released the photos in their most recent issue and clarified that the couple was together when the pictures originally appeared on the Korean website. The couple is featured in the leaked photos, but not in a romantic way. Some internet users debated about why they decided to lie about their relationship in the first place when they weren't at fault.

Earlier, in reaction to backlash from fans, Han So Hee made her Instagram account private. Many argued that Hyeri and Jun Yeol's 'rough phase' overlapped with his relationship with Han So Hee.

According to the report, the relationship between the 'Reply 1988'co-stars began to crumble in June and grew worse over time until they eventually stopped talking. They didn't formally separate until the beginning of November. Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol first met at a photo exhibition on November 15. There were rumours that the two had started dating shortly after the latter ended a seven-year relationship with singer and actress Hyeri. 

Han So Hee stated in her blog post that this was the day of their first meeting. “I went there through a friend who’s a photographer with the goal of viewing the exhibition, and because I’d heard the news that we might be doing a project together, I wound up saying hello,” Soompi quoted her. At the beginning of 2024, the actress continued, the two started to feel romantically drawn to one another.

Actress-singer Hyeri, Ryu Jun-yeol's former partner, made the decision to unfollow him on Instagram during this period after they had already broken up. Then, she shared a cryptic post that basically said, "That's funny." Han So-hee seemed to react shortly after with a note of her own. 

Han So Hee issued an official statement on March 16 through her personal blog. She ended her post with a sincere apology. Ryu Jun Yeol's agency confirmed the news in a statement a few hours later. “Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee confirmed their positive feelings for one another and have been dating since the beginning of this year. Ryu Jun Yeol got to know Han So Hee after his breakup, and they recently confirmed their feelings [for each other],” it read.
