New Delhi: EXO members Chanyeol and Sehun are almost prepared to sign a deal with a new agency to begin their solo careers. It serves as an update to reports that the members of the group were looking for a place for their personal endeavours while still remaining a unit under SM Entertainment.

Reports claim that Chanyeol and Sehun would be leaving SM Entertainment to sign exclusive contracts with a new company for their individual activities. According to SBS News reports, the two have recently conducted negotiations with SM Entertainment in order to determine the direction of their individual careers. After extensive discussions, a consensus has been reached, thus allowing the two artists to transition to a new agency. In the framework of this agreement, it is reported that the two will be given the chance to participate in group activities alongside EXO under the auspices of SM Entertainment.

As quoted by Soompi, SM Entertainment has reacted to the ongoing rumours by saying, "It is not true that Chanyeol and Sehun have moved to a new agency. The contracts that EXO members signed with SM Entertainment at the end of last year remain valid, and EXO activities will continue to proceed under SM Entertainment.”

In 2011, the Korean-Chinese boy band EXO was formed. They debuted under SM Entertainment in 2012. Currently, there are nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun. Originally, it had twelve members. Chanyeol and Sehun's next solo ventures will build on the band's success by showcasing their distinctive musical styles. Social media has been rife with speculation regarding the band's musical style and the direction that they will take with their new agency.

Chanyeol and Sehun have previously been promoted as the duo EXO-SC, and EXO released their seventh full-length album, 'EXIST', in July.
