New Delhi: Jung Ho-seok, better known as rapper J-Hope, recently chatted on Weverse about his eagerness to perform with his BTS bandmates again after doing his obligatory military duty. The interview, which was published on December 24, included thoughts from J-Hope on his solo career and the promising future of the adored K-pop band.
With J-Hope's eagerness to rejoin, the BTS fans (ARMY) are even more excited than before awaiting the group's comeback in 2025.
J-Hope discussed his future plans for BTS saying, "When we’re all back together as a group, it’s going to have a huge impact, and everybody’s going to be watching. I’m excited to see what it’ll feel like when we perform together again.”
He said, "I want to come back in style and say, 'This is us; this is BTS.'"
Korean media have previously reported that when all seven BTS members are discharged from the military by mid-year in 2025, the group is expected to release a new album in the second half of the year. Moreover, fans were thrilled to hear that BTS might go on a global tour in 2026.
Out of the seven members of BTS, five are currently serving in military. Jin returned in June 2024, and J-Hope completed his service in October 2024. By June 2025, the other members of BTS, including Suga, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, will complete their mandatory military duty, paving the way for the reunion that fans have been waiting for.
J Hope Solo Career
A lot has been happening with J-Hope's solo career since he got back from the military in October 2024. A six-part documentary series exploring his passion for dancing and the six-track EP HOPE ON THE STREET Vol.1 were both released earlier this year. His dedication to BTS's future does not waver, even as he keeps his solo projects front and centre.
