New Delhi: Shehnaaz Gill shot to fame after appearing in season 13 of the hit reality programme ‘Bigg Boss’. Her endearingly cute character and pranks stole the hearts of audiences. One of the most memorable aspects of the show was her relationship with the late competitor Siddharth Shukla. Shehnaaz is one of the actresses who radiates positivity despite her difficult circumstances. Recently, she told that "Agar positivity nahi rakhungi, fir toh main barbaad ho jaungi."
Shehnaaz spoke to IANS about her positivity and said, "Positivity nahi rakhungi fir toh main barbaad ho jaungi na. Main na bahut emotional type insaan hun. Agar main positive nahi rahi, toh I think main toot sakti hun. (If I will not keep positivity in life, I will be ruined as I am an emotional person). Toh mujhe apne aap ko positive rakhna hi padhta hai. Zaroori hai life main. (So I have to keep myself positive. It is important for life)."
Since her appearance on the controversial reality show, she has received an outpouring of support from fans. Shehnaaz believes her 'desi' roots help her to connect with the audience.
She said, "I am desi and that is why people connect with me so much. I don't pretend to be someone else. I am what I am... That I think connects with people. But if you talk naturally... I can't change my personality. It will always be the same."
For the unversed, Siddharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill were one of the most popular couples in the Bigg Boss 13 house. Fans gave the pair the name "Sidnaaz," which has now become a social media phenomenon. Shehnaaz Gill also took a break from work following the sudden death of actor Siddarth Shukla.
Shehnaaz recently made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. The action movie also features Bhumika Chawla, Pooja Hegde, and Raghav Juyal in addition to Salman Khan.
