Popular TV couple Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai are all set to welcome their first baby. The couple who announced the former’s pregnancy a couple of days back are thrilled to enter the new phase of parenthood and recently opened up on the changes the new phase has brought. The couple shared a YouTube video with fans where they can be seen taking about baby names, their first reaction on discovering pregnancy and more.
Kishwer and Suyyash shared that the baby was unplanned and came as a shock to both. Suyyash said, "I got the pregnancy kit. She went to the washroom and after a while when she didn't come back, I went to check and found her on the toilet seat. She showed me the test and I went, 'Oh shit! Are you serious?'"
Kishwer added that there was pin drop silence for a long time after that.
Kishwer also spoke on breaking the stereotype of late pregnancy. The TV actress says she feels blessed on conceiving naturally at the age of 40.
Kishwer can be heard saying: "It was a miracle, blessing from God." Suyyash added, "When we see our friends or people around us freezing their eggs or opting for IVF, we feel blessed. We didn't plan it and she conceived it naturally. God just gave us to this naturally. There was no way we could refuse it."
Taking on baby name, the duo popularly known as ‘Sukish’ by fans said that it was decided within the first two months only.
Kishwer said they are not going to reveal it though before the baby’s birth, watch the full video here:
Earlier, the couple announced their pregnancy by posting an adorable picture on their social media. Kishwer took to her Instagram and shared a picture with her husband Suyyash Rai. Suyyash can be spotted on his knees by the sea as Kishwer’s baby bump is clearly visible in this picture. In the photo, August 2021 is scribbled on the sand with a pair of baby shoes.
